I like the look. I would however refuse to pay for something I can make with a chainsaw and a little elbow grease.
Agreed, I showed my Dad a picture of the West Elm one and he whipped one up for me…much cheaper :)
Great wood stumps ideas.
After Hurricane Sandy, so many trees had to be cut down because they were uprooted and in danger of falling over. People were on the scene waiting to grab the wood. Now I wish I had secured a stump to recreate these looks.

I think they’re a nice design element/side table, but, I don’t care much for seating around the kitchen table! :D
