In my experience the main problem with upholstered headboards is dust and the having to vacuum them regularly. Nice bit of wood and I can whoosh over it with a duster.
I’m fascinated by the nightstand gnome in the first picture!
Have to agree with squirrel circus, the gnome figure is so cool! Bit odd though, but now I want a gnome!
