I imagine that in the summer that can be annoying as you can’t stop the sun from being in your face. It looks really nice though.

  2. And the sun fades everything! :-(. Sadie, my post today is inspired by your format only not three different subjects.

I couldn’t help but notice the front loading washer and dryer in red. A favorite of mine!

Stunning! At least to look at…I don’t know how I’d like living there though!

I would never want a glass house, but they are lovely to look at.

I really like all the glass but I would have to have curtains or blinds up at the window for privacy so that would kind of defeat the object! ;-)

    • I’m always amazed at the pictures of houses that have bathrooms with large widows…and no window treatments!! I don’t care how far away from civilization I thought I was, I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around in the altogether in front of the windows.

  8. Gorgeous of course, but imagine cleaning all your windows!!

  9. Wow! (only word I can think of) :-) (Pinned & Tweeted!)

Fun to dream about a house like that. I presume if I could afford it I could afford a daily window cleaner too :)

  13. Architecture me says those are cool. Walking naked through the living room in rubber boots carrying the Sears catalogue me says those probably aren’t a good idea.

Could you live in a Glass House?

  19. I find glass houses so peculiar and intriguing, and you’ve provided some outstanding photos of some beautiful ones! There’s a glass duplex just above Boulevard Park in Bellingham, WA that my friends and I frequently refer to as the “Cullen House” (guess why?), and I always find it fascinating. I wonder if living in one is comparable to living in a fish bowl or if it’s more pleasant than anything. As one side of the duplex is often up for lease, I constantly fear that a nudist will elect to take up residence there. Fortunately, it’s not yet happened. Gorgeous pictures and great blog!

My dad wants a glass house. I think he’s kidding, but I should show him this! :)

It is perfect! But one should be careful having a window that size in the bathroom :)
